Full Moon Night Trips! (2010)

On the night of the full moon, each month we will be kayaking at night!

The trips are scheduled as follows:

Saturday, June 26, 2010

Sunday, July 25, 2010

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

Thursday, September 23, 2010

These will be weather permitting.  Call as we get closer if you are interested.

From there, we will gear up and head out to Thornapple (High-Rollway) Boat Launch where we will settle into our  kayaks for a moonlit trip down the river. About 20 minutes into the trip, we will pull off on ‘The Island’ where the guides will build a campfire and provide refreshments and the ingredients for S’mores (yes, you actually have to cook them – but we can help if you really need us too!) After the fireside fun, the group gets back into their kayaks to finish the last two hours of moonlight paddling.

The sounds are amazing and the trip thrills all participants. This trip requires each attendee to bring a headlamp. The trip will end in Newaygo (back at your vehicle) and, although it is only a 2.5 hour trip, plan for at least four hours so you are not rushed. Note: Everyone is required to wear a life-jacket while in their watercraft and they will be provided, or you can bring your own.

Cost:
$40.00 / single kayak (includes kayak, PFD, Paddle, Transport and Refreshments.)
$70.00 / double kayak (includes kayak, PFDs, Paddles, Transport and Refreshments.)
$20.00 / person with their own equipment.  Includes transportation, guiding and snacks.
(Maximum of 20 people, so sign up early!)

Note: These trips require clear skies and excellent river conditions – prepayment is required but a full refund is provided if cancelled for weather conditions.
